Strategic visibility and credibility

They made up their mind about you before the meeting started.

Somebody is going to look you up tonight. Your website, your LinkedIn, maybe a podcast you were on eighteen months ago. Twenty minutes, alone, with nobody there to explain anything.

By the time you shake hands on Thursday the decision is mostly made. You are just confirming it, or trying to talk them out of it.

That is the audition, and nearly nobody prepares for it.

Credible before, memorable after We build know, like and trust before you walk into the room, and in the rooms you are never going to be able to walk into.

Followers and being believed are two different things.

A post that did forty thousand views and reached nobody who could ever hire you is worse than three hundred views in the right room, because it feels like progress. You get the dopamine, the quarterly report looks great, and the phone does not ring.

Meanwhile the eleven people whose opinion would actually change your year have no idea what you think about anything.

Reach is temporary. Reputation gets built on purpose.

The diagnosis

Why the visibility you have is not converting

You are measuring the wrong room.

Most people pick their metric from whatever the platform puts on the screen, and the platform is not optimizing for your pipeline. If you cannot name the fifty people who need to know who you are, you cannot tell whether any of this is working, and neither can anybody you report to.

Short content proves you exist, not that you are good.

Thirty seconds is enough to be recognized and nowhere near enough to be trusted. People decide you know what you are talking about by watching you think for a while, which is why an hour-long conversation does something a very polished clip never will. You cannot fake it for forty-five minutes.

The surface they check does not match the claim.

You say you are the strategic one and your site is a list of services. You say you work with hospitals and your last nine posts are about a team lunch. Nobody ever mentions it. They just quietly go with the other firm.

The fix

How authority gets built

  1. We name the room.Which fifty or five hundred people need to know who you are, what they already read and listen to, and who they believe. Everything after this is a question of showing up there consistently instead of everywhere occasionally.
  2. We fix the surface they will check.Site, profile, the first page of results, the first video anybody finds. It has to say the same thing you say. This is unglamorous and it is the highest-return week of the whole engagement.
  3. We put you in long form.Podcast production, a guesting strategy aimed at shows your buyers actually listen to, speaker positioning for the stages that matter in your market. Long enough that people watch you think.
  4. We hold the slot.A fixed rhythm you can actually keep beats a brilliant run of six weeks followed by silence. Missing teaches people to forget you, and getting remembered a second time costs more than getting remembered the first.

We are not here for the one appearance. A podcast episode is a deliverable. What you are buying is a body of evidence that answers for you when you are not in the room.

What this looks like

Long-form work we have produced

Feeding Tampa Bay. Podcast production built to give a nonprofit somewhere to be heard at length, rather than a clip that scrolls past.

Speaker reel. Authority positioning built for stages, and for the bookings that come after them.

  • Prospects who arrive warm, so your close rate moves without your pipeline getting any bigger.
  • Invitations to stages, shows and panels instead of applications for them.
  • A searchable body of work that answers a buyer’s questions at eleven at night, while you are asleep.
  • Recruiting that gets easier, because the people you want already know who you are.
Open placeholder A dedicated corporate podcast production page is planned as a child of this one, to catch the query people actually search. Not built yet. This page also needs one client authority example with a named, approved outcome. Nothing has been invented in the meantime.

If your best prospect looked you up tonight, what would they find?

We will ask what you want to be known for, who you want to be known by, and what has to be true five years from now. If we are not the right firm for that, we will tell you.
