Build Trust by Solving Problems: Content Strategy for Tampa Bay Businesses

People Love It When You Solve Their Problems

As a Tampa Bay entrepreneur, I recently taught myself to decorate cakes. I followed a YouTube channel that solved my biggest challenge—turning messy frosting into beautiful designs. It earned a loyal subscriber in me for one simple reason: she solved my problem.

This same principle applies to your social media strategy. After choosing the right platform, the next step is figuring out what to post. Instead of jumping on every trend, focus on the problems your ideal customers face every day. People aren’t visiting your profile to watch you dance; they’re looking for solutions.

How to Find Content Ideas That Solve Problems

  • Identify key questions. Write down the top 10 questions your clients ask. These are your content goldmine.
  • Repurpose strategically. Turn each question into:
    • a short video (great for YouTube Shorts, TikTok or Instagram Reels),
    • an engaging carousel on Instagram or LinkedIn,
    • a story post for quick tips or behind-the-scenes insights.
  • Rotate content types. Balance your feed with three categories:
    • Authority: Teach something useful or share how-to advice.
    • Perspective: Explain what you believe and why—your unique point of view.
    • Proof: Share case studies, results or behind-the-scenes glimpses that show your expertise.

Why Giving Value Beats Constant Advertising

No one enjoys the person at a networking event who only hands out business cards. Social media is no different. By consistently providing solutions, you build the Know, Like and Trust factors that attract clients. Of course, include a call to action or occasional promotional post, but ensure that most of your content answers questions and provides value. You don’t need to go viral—you need to be valuable.

Located in downtown Tampa, our full-service video production studio helps you put this approach into action. Serving businesses across Tampa Bay—including Hillsborough and Pinellas counties—we assist with:

  • Problem-Discovery Workshops: Identifying what your audience struggles with so you can create content that resonates.
  • Professional Production: Turning your answers into high-quality videos, carousels and stories tailored to each platform’s best practices.
  • Content Strategy & Scheduling: Building a sustainable calendar that keeps your brand visible without burnout.
  • Storytelling & SEO: Crafting messages that build trust, optimising titles/descriptions and distributing your content so it reaches the right people.

And yes—if we ever meet to brainstorm your content strategy, let’s do it at a bakery. It’s research… I swear!
